We have a lot of tough games coming up soon. If we are still close to the top after those there'll be reason's to be cheerful.

If it were a manger with a clean slate I think most wouldn't be worried. But Rodgers is just coming across like he doesn't know what he's doing and is just improvising game by game. He is doing what we feared last season he would do again, he keeps repeating mistakes both on the pitch and in the transfer market.Originally posted by dww View PostWe are only 5 points off top having played two top teams. I do think there is a danger of people over stating how bad the situation is.
Now Sturridge is back and Ings is in form I'm quite looking forward to games again.
Then there is the run of results stretching back to March.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Having Sturridge's goals available would be a major boon.......probably not enough though in all honesty, as there are inherent failing weaknesses in this squad, which can probably only be addressed at this stage by a change in vision.
Up and down is the only outlook for us - maybe with a collapse of one or two of the upper half Top 7-8 sides, it could lead to a top 4 placing, but there is a stark reality of underachievers with this squad, a squad which should be doing much better.
I firmly believe that any other manager in here of such limited guile would have us performing at least as well.............the right man though, could elevate us again.
I think he's underachieving with the resources he's been given.

My mate just txt me. He works with some fella called Simon crabtree (apparently some news reporter up there) and he reckons that Ancelloti has been approached and is onboard when Brendan gets the bullet.
Never heard of him, me.Last edited by Gray; 30-09-15, 05:04 PM.

He chose to make those changes for the second successive season, last January he spoke of a title challenge this season, now he says transition. He will never achieve success at this club IMO.Originally posted by Fredo View PostI think it's a bit early given the number of changes which happened in the summer, be it backroom staff and new players. Also, we haven't had the easiest of starts.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Played for Milan for a while. Then went on to coach them, Chelsea & Madrid. Do try to keep up.Originally posted by Gray View PostMy mate just txt me. If true that is absolutely farcical. So basically they want a yes man that does what he is told. Because we all know that no managers that have forceful personalities have ever won anything.Originally posted by rodo View PostOliver Kay on The Times webchat says FSG seem worried about appointing a forceful personality
