Maybe Balotelli would perform better with the right motivation. What say if someone were to kidnap his pig, and I'm not saying this should happen but there are some unsavoury sorts out there...but if they kidnapped him and left a note written in orange crayon that we would return the pig, and by we I am those vile *******s, once he scored or helped in the score of 20 goals. Every 5th goal he would get a video message from the pig for extra incentive. I think it would become a very positive thing for the club. I do not condone kidnapping....

Very novel idea, kidnap the pig to make sure MARIO brings home the bacon for LFC!

I agree with Lec in that I also think Rodgers has lost his nerve/bottle.
Last season even if one of Sturridge or Suarez was out we'd have gone into a game against this Man U side and gone we'll tear them apart.

We'd have gone to Old Trafford with an arrogance and a belief, that starts with the manager and flows into the players.

The players are playing with no confidence and no belief because Rodgers has lost his.

I'd be ****ing delighted is he went into the Utd game with a combination of Sterling, Lallana, Markovic, Henderson, Gerrard and Coutinho playing as our front 5 (in whatever formation) and just said you're **** at the back, we're going to get at you.
Moreno and Manquillo as full backs telling them to bomb on all game.

He won't, it'll be 4-2-3-1 with Lambert upfront, no-one within 20 yards of him and try and nick a draw or a win from a set piece or counter.

Utd will smell our fear and batter us, honest to god I'd rather we went to Utd and got beat having had some bollocks to attack them and take them on at home instead of being paralysed by fear

As **** as Borini is, he scored 10 in 29 games for the makems last year. 1in3 for a club fighting relegation.... we should be playing him in a front 2 until Stude returns.

That was mostly playing wide in a 4-5-1 as well.

I've just has an epiphany today. Honestly, as a set of fans, we're too nice. The season so far has been absolutely shocking. I've had my mates round for about 10 games and we've not won one. I thought we would give it a go against Basel at least but it turned out to be one of our worst performances yet.

I'm sorry guys, but he's got to go asap. He's stinking the place out now. Just take a look at our results this season to get a sense of how bad it is. I'm sorry, but we're doing even worse than Manure under Moysie. That's the reality of it. A slump in form is temporary but Rodger's inability to learn from his mistakes is permanent.

Lose on Sunday - which feels inevitable - and I will be done with him. And I can't believe I'm saying that.

What if he picks a more attacking line up and we go for it, but still lose?

I'm not quite there. Play well and get 'Webb'ed' and I may think differently. Play like ****e again and I will be waiting for his sacking in July.

I think he could turn things round but needs to accept some of his failings and bring people in to solve them. For me an extra coach specializing in defence could be a big help and if he was big enough to accept a DoF or other senior figure to help out that could be good too.

A proper judgement of Rodgers is pretty hard without knowing how many of the signings were what he actually wanted.

I have to say that recent times though remind me too much of our struggles when he first came. The difference being we now don't have Suarez (or, at least at the minute, Sturridge) to turn us around.

It's astonishing, mind-blowing, considering last season but enough chances have been given now, imo. The team selection vs Basel I actually found offensive and really felt for the fans that went to the game.

Yeah I guess if there are sudden signs of improvement then I might hold off. But if it's the same as it's been most of this season, I'll be done.

If he tried this I would take my hat off to him

                                He wont though
