Granted we haven't got the results against the top 4 or 5 sides but I think with the exception of maybe Arsenal and Utd we have performed pretty well against them without getting a result.
Dismantling teams at home You mean the likes of Fulham and Sunderland? Lets not mention Villa and Swansea

We've been piss poor against anyone from the top half all season, home or away. If theres progress I'm yet to see it. Possession stats are the only thing benefitting Rogers and what does that mean? Nothing.

We've condeded far more goals than last season when the opposition apparently don't have the ball because we're running around with it glued to our boots.

Its a myth peddled out by the emperor and swallowed readily.

Norwich, Sunderland, what was our score agaisnt them at home last season? They are exactly the types of teams we were and have been failing to beat the last few seasons. That was my point

We were piss poor against City at home, Everton away, Spurs away? Are you sure?

        1. [4-2-3-1] - sometimes counter-attacking setup under Rafa.
        2. [4-4-2] - all-out attack under Kenny.
        3. [4-2-3-1/4-3-3] - possession-based slow building game under Rodgers.

If you can't understand why that takes time to adjust then you honestly have no idea about football. You could take the best players in the world, put them into a new system, and it would take time to adjust. Then wake up, realise we DON'T have the best players in the world and then it becomes a little more clean as to why we're adjusting.

That's what this is - a period of adjustment. It happens when teams change managers. It happens to EVERYONE. Some adjust better than others.

At times, under Kenny, we were utterly brainless and just ran around a lot, running at people with no real plan and yes it worked at times but our new style of play has worked at times. Long term success comes from implementing that system perfectly and that might take another year or two but in that time we will see improvements as we already have done.

There'll be defeats along the way, of course there will, but there'll also be big wins, cup runs and eventually silverware.

Did they? Did they really? Did Carroll, Downing and Carroll single-handedly carry us through the cups? Did they bollocks. Have a word with yourself.
Oh come on, its over 8 months in and we're still saying player are getting to grips with a new system. Do me a favour.

Bloody right there will be a few defeats along the way! You don't have to tell me that

Would an average manager playing a system that they're used to, spending the same amount of money do any better or worse than the Emperor? Maybe, maybe not, but I'll bet you that not one person on here would put a decent stake on someone like Fat Sam doing any worse

Its a results business Sarb, you know that.

These things even themselves out over a season.

Regardless of all this, you lot love it having someone to disagree with

Well, if you actually look at results, we've been getting better over the last few months. There's hiccups along the way but key players are looking more and more comfortable.

It's statements like that which give you away as one of two things:

            1. A troll who isn't a Liverpool fan.
            2. An actual child, probably no older than 16.

These players are young. Average age of the team yesterday was 22. Of course there will be random defeats and terrible performaces. That doesnt mean the Manager is ****. I think he got it wrong yesterday with our midfield. They bullied us. So we watch the game back, work out what went wrong and then learn from it.

These players are growing as footballers and men at the moment. It can only make us better if they do it together.
              *Except Michael, who died.

Yeah it's a results business. But think you need to give people a bit of time to achieve consistent results especially when there is a squad overhaul going on and a load of teenagers being played in the first half of this season

And all this coming from the brilliant mind behind "the emperor" and "let's sell Agger because he's ****" along with slagging off a manager after less than one season.

I know it's all ifs and it's a selective sample, but I read the other day that a league table ignoring the first five games of the season (I know ) would have us in 4th. I think that shows some signs of improvement.

We currently have 34 points from 23 games, which is ****. After 23 games last season we had 38 points, but went on to pick up only a further 14 points from the remaining 15 games. There's no way we'll wind up with a lower points total than last season - and that would represent improvement.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The youth is one thing that I am positive about, but the system and the manager is not. People really are making out that Rogers invented the wheel.

The concern I have is that things aren't being learnt, defensively especially. Its his arrogance and belief in his system thats stopping us progressing.

I think he is learning. He has also proven himself to be responsive and able to make a change if he notices he has ****ed up initially with the team/formation.

Dont think that shows arrogance or unflappable belief in the system.
