He is to a point, move him up the field and it will hopefully be a different story. IMO he is one of the main reasons we are lacking movement. He is so deep that we are effectively sacrificing a midfield player, he is sometimes between Gog and Gokke, picking the ball up their feet. Sometimes he is taking the pass from Gog and passing it right back - all that does is giving the other team opportunity to set up and even pressure our back six (six with Gerrard).

Top managers buy top players. Rafa didnt get them all right, but some of the players he signed were great. If he had £100m to buy, I bet we would have invested it better.
