I find him endearing and annoying in equal measure and I don't hate him at all. I just don't think he's good enough. If I thought there was a good chance of him challenging next season then I'd want him to stay. If he does stay then I'm not convinced he's going to last the season.

What is he building towards? I haven't got a clue and I'm not sure he does either. He signs players that aren't suited to his style of play, he changes the formation every year, we lack balance and organisation and we seem to have several players out of position in every game. Lastly, after 3 years and more than 200 million spent there is a good case for a complete overhaul. It's a mess.

The biggest problem with Rodgers is that he seems tactically inept. Even when we were winning last year we all knew the set up of the team was wrong and we were letting in too many goals.

He seems pretty hasty to change the entire team set up back and forth, which last year when we were scoring he was claiming as a master stroke, but in reality this year we seem to be floundering and desperately trying to fit all our players into a suitable formation. It just doesn't breed consistency. Add to that a pretty disastrous year of transfers and we are where we are.

A lot of chickens are coming gone to roost for Brendan right now and much as at the end of Geds time he seems to have run out of answers.

Three years, £200m plus spent, mostly on ***** - imagine if he was the manager of a rival like Utd - we'd all be laughing at them and saying he should stay - which is what CFC, AFC, UTD etc... fans are saying to us.

And there are LFC fans SO deluded that they liken BR to Shankly's second coming. Utterly, utterly laughable.

A supposed tactical genius taken to task by Tim (D'oh!) Sherwood? Five formations in one game? A man who thinks playing Villa in a Cup semi is a BIG occasion?

A man who hid behind the striking prowess of Suarez and the positive effect that had on the team, who then replaced that prowess with *****? Who was still smiling when this season started because even HE believed his own hype, until the team and squad he "rebuilt" with the £220m fell apart? A man who then managed to scrape together some wins and an unbeaten run that took us all the way to...5th (which far from being an indicator of how "great" he is, is rather a massive indication of just how crap we were until that point.)

A man who claimed HE had last say on ALL players signed but will now brief his media mates about a transfer committee making him take players he didn't want? I wanted Willian (boo hoo!) but they bought me Balotelli etc...

Here's the really, really annoying thing though. We HAD the closest we've come to an heir to Shanks and we let some bankers sack him. He fought for this club and its fans. He built a squad with a smaller avg net spend per season than Sunderland had over his 6 seasons here. He took us into Europe, won us the CL, nearly won it for us again, and took us to the very, very top of the Euro rankings, and made us a feared name once again. He won us an FA Cup, and nearly won us the league. He brought us players with courage and spark and genuine desire (despite the gambles and the mistakes that all managers make) - Alonso, Agger, Masch, Torres, Reina and Kuyt (to name a few) would have run through a wall for us. He MADE Gerrard the best player in his position in the WORLD in 05-09 - something even Gerrard knows ("he told me I ran too much" said Stevie of his first meeting with Rafa.) Rodgers midfield maestro is Allen, Rafa's was Xabi - GAME OVER.)

Rodgers will do NOTHING with this club. Three years, three Summer windows of spending, 3 January's, and look where it's got us? Yes - second last year, which means nothing to anyone outside some of our fan base, a laughing stock in the CL when we got there, and "progress" that is taking us backwards. Funds wasted, tactics a joke, formations seemingly decided on the hoof, players bought and discarded without so much as five games to prove themselves and on and on...

Like I said - laughable, laughable, laughable. If we removed Rafa for one bad season (under extreme H&G induced duress) forgetting what he achieved in the other five, if we sacked our KING after he won us a cup, and nearly won another, then FFS why are people even questioning this?
Its a bit hysterical. Rafa Benitez isn't the answer to our problems because of the history he has with the fans. We already have a manager who has split the fanbase, what we need is someone who can bring us back together again.

In the last few weeks he's sent out a team that have played like total ****houses in our 3 biggest games. Somebody needs shoeing for that alone. I can accept not being good enough but I can't accept teams going out and playing with fear and that's exactly what we've done in those games. No idea why either because we've had some superb fighting performances like City, Southampton and Spurs. Infuriating.

Rodgers also doesn't play the normal game plan in those games, he sets he team up with odd tweaks

That's just the thing. We have done. We beat city and Arsenal last season under massive pressure then folded against Chelsea and Palace. Beat City again this season, Southampton and Spurs too to get back in the race then folded once we got there. Scizo's we are.

And what is this united fanbase going to achieve? Truth is Rafa or whoever comes next, if he starts winning stuff, fanbase is going to be more or less united; start loosing and the fanbase starts to split.

I am not advocating bringing Rafa back or firing Rodgers.

First thing the club needs to do fix the way we do transfers. I am not advocating more money or higher wages. Get a system where we are reasonably decent in terms of how we spend the money. Klopp, De Boer all rely on an outstanding DOF and scouting system. In Klopp's case when the transfers flopped, so did his performance.

I'm not advocating bringing Rafa back but.

Under him we won the Champions League and got to another final.

Under Brendan Rodgers just getting into the CL is an achievement. I like Rodgers but I am a Liverpool supporter and want what's best for the club and after spending north of £200m and only have an injury prone Sturridge and Coutinho to show for it it's time for a change.

Not bothered who (manager, coach, tea lady, sparks), but I refuse to go into another week as a Liverpool fan without someone getting the bullet after that.
too far... she is the only one worth keeping. maybe coutinho too.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                        Once again, cannot disagree.

Rafa took a team that was in the CL and had good pedigree in Europe. Players wanted to join us. I'd have Rafa back in a heartbeat if Rodgers went, but he had a good hand when he joined. Did wonders with it. But would he accept the committee? Would he ****e. And neither should Rodgers. We should have a manager who signs his own players and is judged on that. And if he fails, bin him.
                          Forwards.......

We have no chance of Rafa coming back to work under this committee regime. Rodgers on the other hand if he keeps his job should either tell the club to bin the committee off or resign.

However seeing who Rodgers wanted and bought previously it terrifies me to think what he would bring in if given total control. The guy sold Agger for peanuts and bough Lovren for £20m.

I think it's just best to cut all ties, start again in the summer with a new proven manager and take a serious look at the players available on frees this summer.
