I was firmly in the camp of giving him time this season to right the wrongs of last season.

I didnt see the game today as I'm in deepest darkest Dorset and the nearest pub with sky is too far to not land me in trouble with my wife. So I guess I can't yet change my position.

But it does sound like he's becoming increasingly confused in his thinking. For him to be given time he needs to demonstrate a clear plan, method and end goal. Even with that, he needs to add demonstrable progress. At the moment, he's showing none of this.

The 'new players need time' comment wrankles because we all know without new players he'd be shouting from the rooftops about the iniquity of it all.

I don't reckon Kopp would come, despite him being susceptible to history and romance. I'd give Brendan a month to get a response, mainly because I fear otherwise we'll lump on Monk or Klinsmann.

If he can't turn it around, there's still time for the new manager to assess our squad and plan for the next transfer window.

Agreed, he can do it via Skype, email, pigeon, which ever way I think his time is up. Not massively in the camp of firing folk on jerky reaction, but I think Rodgers time is up now.

I don't know anyone who wants him to continue. Does anyone here? If he got the bullet tomorrow (not going to happen, obviously), would anyone here think anything other than "thank God for that"?

I'm not at point of actively calling for his head, but I am starting to think it would be for the best, and I certainly wouldn't be upset if he left. It's not Hodgson bad, it's just ineffective and rudderless, the last few months feels like a long slow decay. It's not even the results, it's the performances, if we were dominating games and creating chances and were just unable to put them away that would be one thing but there is just nothing. We have some good players we just can't get the best out of them.

Part of me feels like there is no-way he can get us to where we want to be (top 4), the other part of me looks and thinks he created that team that came second and he was able to modify the system last year to turn our season around, maybe he could do the same again. The problem is even if he gets us into the top 4 I don't think he is good enough to take us any further than that. I just don't like the idea of changing managers so early in the season, if we wanted to make a change we should have done it in the summer.

It is starting to feel like when he goes rather than if.

I genuinely hope they sack him and we can start a fresh. Team has no focus or plan. There is no strategy or function to the team. I've never seen a more disjointed team.... Even under Roy.

didn't do Disney, couldn't handle the kids and I've actually got a taste for the Miller light. The beers over here are ****e. The head lasts about 2 seconds.

Some spot though,will be gutted to come home to reality tomorrow.

It's definitely the beginning of the end for Rodgers imo. Even the majority of rawk members including mods have turned on Rodgers.

What really frustrates me about that place and people of that type of mentality, is they completely shoot down anyone who goes against their perfect utopia. You point out multiple reasons why Brendan isnt good enough, back that up with examples that are repeated season after season by him in some kind of hypnotic dance he cant break free of, and you're classed as a **** fan. Yet when they start to finally agree, nary a recompense is made for all the bullying the super fan makes.

When you're questioning his decision making, player selection, and cringing at every word he says almost EVERY game, no amount of positive thinking will change the way he does things. Should of gone last season. Now we've wasted another under the excuse of giving him more time. It's outright sickening.
