Wow wow wow Lecter. Why the need to be aggressive on this? Horse****e or not, it's about opinions. Yours can't be horse****e can it, cos you hold the truth.
Completely missed the point I was trying to make ffs. Hope the next boss makes unanimity.
Hold on hold on
You are the guy who is spouting opinion a few posts up and stating it "as fact"
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
HOOK,LINE AND SINKER.....I must say your so pro-Rodgers ...like a few on here,as soon as something negative is said people get hounded for it,so much for an opinion based forum.
Hmmm... the fact I posted about was about us nearly winning the league. Was that a dream?
Hang on your tag line to a whole paragraph about formations (from 4-4-2 thru 4-3-3) was "This is fact"
Point in favour of Rodgers, even though some people will point out that Suarez was the genius which made the system click in 2013, he had the awareness to tweak that system and to make both a 442 diamond and a 433 work. In the latter, both Sturridge and Suarez alternated between playing on the wing, with great success. It does boil down to player quality in the end, both tactically and technically. Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge, all together, formed a lethal partnership and Rodgers made the system work. This is a fact.
It seems to me you are suggesting this entire paragraph is FACT

I am not "pro Rodgers", but am trying to offer a counter argument to a discussion which has become one sided. A slightly different stance on what can actually be wrong with the club.
I have seen things with Rodgers to make me feel that he may not be as bad as we think, but hey, it's completely lost in here.

Oh I see. It's close enough don't you think? More than 100 goals scored in a season in which we nearly won the league?
Also, we alternated well between a diamond and a 433. We were winning.

Fair enough, I though am of the opinion that you are totally wrong and Rodgers is damaging the club by poor transfers, lack of direction, poor media handling and poor results on the pitch.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

And when someone says anything remotely against Rodgers they get pelters, that's all i'm saying

I dont think we alternated between 4-3-3 and a diamond
IMO we played a diamond its just the fluidity of the football and attacking play leads some to believe we played 4-3-3
Anyway its all kind of moot because Rodgers tore that system up last season and went back to a staid and tired 4-3-3 / 4-3-2-1 hybrid which has failed miserably since
Again people will harp on about the loss of Sturridge and Suarez's goals but the big thing that has been missing from our play is an ability to press the ball high up the pitch. Our defence and midfield now sits far too deep to organise an effective press.
Maybe thats the fault of the defensive coach that Rodgers said we didnt need
