Not to mention that we can hardly rely on Sturridge's fitness and be sure all 3 will be available through the season.

What I don't get at all is why, when Sturridge was not available at the start of the season, we didn't play Benteke & Ings up front together. Completely bizarre decision, even if Ings was just seen as a placeholder for Sturridge surely it would have made sense to bed in a system with 2 up front in preparation for Benteke & Sturridge to play together.
      This, very much this.

Ings looked like the perfect stand in for Strurridge in the types of system you would envisage involving Benteke. It almost looked like planning.

Don't you think that, now with McAlliser and O'Driscoll around, explains why Rodgers's decision making is so muddled? I mean, having three heads to discuss tactics and how we should set up, means that there could be some confusion.
        Are we winning?

Pretty much this is what lost him his remaining fan base (including me). Even if he convincingly wins his next set of games he's not the manager with a long term plan I was hoping, i.e. he has none or they fly in the face of logic with the resources he has.

He may learn and develop but you spend 4-6 years learning at a mid table club, not a top end one. He's pretty much made us that mid table club now.

This is weird alright, but boils down to Rodgers wanting to try 4-3-3 again, probably with Benteke as Graham?

If he'd have gone with two upfront I could have seen the four strikers we have as excellent pairs, one of Sturridge/Ings with Benteke/Origi.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Think I preferred the old optimistic BigChief - he's broken you man....

For that there is no coming back - he has to go....

I'm not sure I buy this completely. The 4-3-3 of Swansea relied on wide players with pace in the 3. We bought none of them, leaving us with Ibe who arguably fits the bill.

In general if we didn't intend a diamond-ish midfield or 4-3-2-1 formation I think our buys collectively look odd.

Which brings about the point I was trying to make earlier. What if having three heads to look at things before making a decision, confuse matters even more for the manager? The committee is a prime example of muddled thinking.

I don't think will change for the better if we part company with Rodgerito. Unless there's a radical change in strategy.
                    Are we winning?

Hopefully the new manager will bring that

Does anyone know how many players Brendan Rodgers signed for Swansea. What im asking is that were those players already there or did he build the squad in a particular way.

I think you're right. I think next summer Rodgers should sack his back room team & replace them because what's going wrong is soooooo obviously all their fault
                              Forwards.......
