Apparently from disabled Swansea fans in recognition of his charitable contributions.

In that context I suppose its not that bad. Still not great though

It's taking a lot for me to resist making a joke on that one.....

In reality though, Brendan said after all of the signings last summer that now he had a squad to go challenge. And that that summer would be a one off in terms of player signings - suggesting that he had the squad he wanted and that any additions would be quality (replacements for departed first teamers like Gerrard Johnson etc when they leave the club) as opposed to quantity from 2015 onwards....

Now he is coming out with ****e like "we need more players this summer" and "we can challenge if I have the right tools"... What ****ing tools is he on about??? Because they let him spend 120m on tools last summer and he bought a load of rubber ****in hacksaws....

      He's the ****in tool.

I was all for giving him another year but his quotes and comments are ****in pissing me right off now.

He wasn't given a decent striker and that's the main tool we've been missing. We ended up having to gamble on Balo.

Getting back to Brendan, he has been brilliant at bringing through young players. He has been ****e at identifying and purchasing players. If I was FSG then I would talk to him, sign maybe Milner ings and konoplyanka for two thirds of **** all and another midfielder and a defender (and a striker if sterling is sold) and give him another season. Tell him the priority is the league and the cups are to be used to develop Rossiter, Sinclair, ojo, teixeria if he gets over his injury and Harry Wilson. See how Brendan gets on with that.....
Having a strike force of Sturridge, Ings and Origi would not fill anyone with hope. Sturridge cannot be relied on, Origi and Ings are young and very inexperienced at this level. We need them and a world class striker who will instantly add goals. Thats where our problem has been all season.

Let's just get someone better with the media. As long as they tell the truth all season long and refuse to answer awkward loaded questions the fans will be happy.

I've fixed that number for you.

              Lambert, Balotelli, Lovern - 45m
Can, Markovic, Moreno, Lallana - 71m

120m is a nice soundbite, I'll admit, but no way they are all failures.

How on earth anyone can see Moreno as anything other than a failure this season is beyond me.

I reckon only Lallana and Can have been decent for us. We should have spent £50m on Benzema or someone like that.

For me Can, Lallana and Markovic have been good additions even if we overpaid for the latter two. The others have it all to prove next season, if they are still here that is.

Lowering expectations. Shouldn't be acceptable irrespective of who the manager is.

Rodgers is playing a dangerous game here.

The owners have made it perfectly clear they are in it for the long term and they are going to be patient. They realise it is going to take time."

Also, thank goodness Rodgers didn't mock Spurs earlier this season for spending £100m and not challenging for the title

****ing buffoon. That was such ****e yesterday.
