The thing that makes me doubt how much Rodgers had to do with us finishing second is that he abandoned the style of play that made us so effective. Suarez' pressing and energy was infectious and his mere presence on the pitch lifted everyone around him and as soon as he left everyone's personal performances dipped and we stopped harrying opponents. If the our title challenge had been down to Rodgers coaching then why the terminal decline as soon as Suarez was sold?Comment
