Seeing the Palace mistakes again on Sky for that draw was ****ing heartbreaking.

The defending for the 3 goal

Anyway, it is what it is at the moment and we now have the excitement of a new manager.

It better not be AVB or Gary Monk
amen to that. I think I'd have a self imposed sabbatical from football if we go that way.

I don't get how Gary Monk has become seriously linked with us, I assumed when people have mentioned it on here that everyone was joking because of Brendan's links with Swansea.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Ultimately it was this lack of understanding on how to set up defensively that has done for Brendan.

            He never figured it out.

Haha christ that would send me over the edge. I'm giddy as hell tonight at the prospect of Klopps kop, if it's not him I don't know what I'll do!

Same here. I'm at the stage where anyone other than Klopp would feel like a massive disappointment.

The thing that makes me doubt how much Rodgers had to do with us finishing second is that he abandoned the style of play that made us so effective. Suarez' pressing and energy was infectious and his mere presence on the pitch lifted everyone around him and as soon as he left everyone's personal performances dipped and we stopped harrying opponents. If the our title challenge had been down to Rodgers coaching then why the terminal decline as soon as Suarez was sold?

I'm quite surprised that Shearer and Wright seem to be the first pundits I've seen honestly saying they think Brendan deserved to go.

New manager doesn't get to sign anyone..... do you think they'll do better with the players Rodgers had at his disposal? The transfer committee might not be all bad.

The damage was done in the Chelsea game.

I don't think the club have recovered from that defeat to this day.

Well he does in January after having a few months to analyse the current crop of players.

I think Ian ayre is also thin ice. The rumours are that the relationship between all 3 parties Rodgers, Gordon and ayre wasn't strictly professional.
