Having helped win them so many titles and being an amazing player who stayed at UTD for so long pretty much absolves him of everything in their eyes. He could of been eating children to harness the power of their souls and still the UTD fans would love him. Titles > Everything else.

I hope the huge weight of being a Liverpool lad playing (and captaining) us is lifted off his shoulders and he enjoys himself in L.A I cant help but think there will be a nagging feeling that he should have stayed and helped longer though.

I would love to see him doing the club ambassador role like Kenny had, if he comes back. He's the best person to sell the club to potential signings - he's respected throughout the whole world of football. Can't help but think he'd be able to get the big names to sign on the dotted line - he'd be some asset that way.
