Is it still in their hands or do other results need to work in their favour?

If the former then Rafa is the master, their fans would do well to recognise this.
    Hello mert.

Considering the amount of time a manager of his quality has been out of work for i would have no problems with him accepting the Chelsea job as i'm assuming it will only be a short term basis anyway until they can try for Pep who i do think will end up at Chelsea unfortunately

I will hate the fact that they will openly court Pep from January onwards though while Rafa is in charge as he doesn't deserve to be treated like that but he will know the situation before he accepts the job and hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things for him
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I think RA is hoping for a miracle, and hopes Rafa can repeat history.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised is that is the main reason he's employing him as it's just a big game to him.

Del Bosque is older no? Can't really compare at this point in time, but based on what he's achieved in his relatively short career, I'd say Rafa is better.

Hardly an outrage to think he could be no? Don't understand why people would kick up such a fuss when talking about him. He's a great manager and a fantastic guy.

Other two teams can draw and guarantee qualification.

Oh yeah, remember reading that now.

I don't think anyone has an issue with the idea of him being a top top manager, and a top bloke, it's just your over statements that have prompted me to respond. It comes across as pretty fanatical to me.

Rafa to Man City when they sack Mancini in the summer??

Yep, nobody is outraged as far as I can tell - people are just pulling you up Fredo as this

"Rafa is one of the 2 or 3 best managers in the world right now."

isnt really true. But if that's what you meant as an opinion then you're obviously entitled to it - I wasn't having a go, just suggesting that there's plenty of equal managers about.

Top 3, Top 5 or Top 10 is a matter of opinions.

Fanatical If I was, I'd be committing suicide now he's probably going to Chelsea.

It's a perfect situation for Rafa: gives him a chance to raise his profile quickly and presumably get a decent bank filler. It couldn't possibly be a long-term arrangement because:
                          a) the monkey-faced Russian pondlife doesn't do long-term
                          b) him and Rafa will not see eye to eye (that's putting it mildly) - guaranteed

                          Good luck to Rafa

It's a possibility, as long as he does well in the short time he has at Chelsea.

Just been listening to TalkSport, it's hilarious listening to some of the pundits they've just had Jason Cundy on there talking about how Chelsea fans didn't think they'd win the league this year, they thought they'd finish around 3rd with a decent cup run involved, what absolute bull**** that is.

He also said he'd rather still have DiMatteo as Manager instead of Benitez
