The best tactical manager out there. Sets up his team so they can win every game, home and away against every club in the world. May not be pretty but his club can beat anyone.

Very few games that you can say that the other manager won the tactical battle.
I know you love him and all, but thats quite a measured statement form you for once. I actually had the exact same conversation in work today. We were saying the same thing.

For those who ask: Rafa Benítez has offers from Turkey, Russia and a couple of national teams. Nothing from Chelsea, Aston Villa, At M or Sevilla. He is not in a rush, not close to sign for anybody. Prefers to get a team that fulfils his ambition: with aspirations of Europe and possibility to work with first team and Academy. He will wait for that before he thinks of any other possibilities.

not entirely sure city fulfill his deisre to be involved in academy etc but could be wrong on that one. I wouldnt rule it out.

QPR now that is a joke surely

I don't see why that would be funny. It's a project he could start from scratch, he would have the same resources as Man City, they have a good youth setup and he could really put his mark on them. I think it would be a good option.

For some reason, I don't think RB is rated that highly elsewhere so don't think he'll be at Chelsea/ManCity etc anytime soon.

Sad but true. The smears have stuck, I reckon. It's ridiculous, just look at the guy's CV.

I've met Villa and Stoke fans who all turned their nose up at the prospect of him taking over, it's absolutely laughable.

it's amazing isn't it - Sky have done such a number on him it's not funny, almost all my mates whichever team they support do not rate Rafa at all.

Compare his record at LFC from start to when he left to that of the "greatest manager who ever lived and in fact might even be Jesus reborn" in Fergie, no comparison add in the fact he had to deal with H&G and all that bought with it, it's ****ing unreal!

the smears have stuck but i do think its in part due to his falling out with owners. If your an owner of a football club its not an attractive trait. We all know he did it for the right reasons but as said we are not owners.

Also on the qpr thing whilst the owners are rolling in it they have not shown they are willing to spend it so its not like a man city job in any way as far as i can see

i believe he is one of the top managers in the world. Also his stint at inter didnt help. Once back in work i am sure that he will show what he is capable of again.
