His CV - 2 x La Liga, CL, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, CL finals etc - would surely have him in the world's top 10. He's the only man to break the Real-Barca duopoly in recent times, he has arguably the best CL record of any manager bar Mourinho. He's one of the world's best, that's for sure. An elite manager.

Mourinho, Fergie, Guardiola, Del Bosque, Ancelotti, Hitzfeld, Rijkaard got about the same I reckon.

But hard to compare as how do you weight a CL trophy against multiple national championships for example or a world cup or a European Championship.

If Rafa did get the Chelsea job, as much as I'd hate to see him there, I would love to see him do well.

I don't see why they would go for rafa as a caretaker. There's a good chance they'll be out of the CL (Rafas main strength) in the group stage.
