Of course, I'm completely pro-Rafa myself but I think Nige exaggerated just a little.

I was in the dentist waiting room so had to get the post on quickly, I should have said top 20, definitely. Top 10, probably.

I agree he's an elite manager but he's not one of just 2 or 3.

I also think he's a much better fit for our club than anyone else because he gets everything we stand for. Something doesn't sit right with Rafa going to those plastic cunts.
    Hello mert.

I'm happy if he goes there short term. Better than getting a long term deal.

Splitting hairs really. I wish Rafa well always so it's easy for me. I've never any qualms rooting for Chelsea when they play United, Everton etc. None at all.

Can't believe Rafa would take over another club previously managed by Mourinho after that cunt used his pets to sabotage the dressing room at Inter.

This is key for me. Made that big mistake once, to do it again would be bonkers.

Imagine if he was the man to sell. John Terry - Leader, Legend, Hero

              Just imagine

I don't think I'm exaggerating at all. In my opinion, he's in the top 3. He rattled Ferguson, rattled Mourihno, must be a reason they hate him so much.

Then, his record speak for itself. Think he's better than Del Bosque, Ancelotti and Ferguson, but that's just my opinion.

Mourinho, Fergie, Guardiola, Del Bosque, Ancelotti, Hitzfeld, Rijkaard got about the same I reckon.

But hard to compare as how do you weight a CL trophy against multiple national championships for example or a world cup or a European Championship.

The international statistican thingy made a list based on point on the manager of the year awards and came up with:

                    1. Arsène Wenger France 156
                    2. Sir Alexander Ferguson Scotland 148
                    3. José Mário dos Santos Mourinho Felix Portugal 135
                    4. Fabio Capello Italia 120
                    5. Guus Hiddink Nederland 112
                    6. Carlo Ancelotti Italia 108
                    7. Luiz Felipe Scolari Brasil 101

                    Marcelo Alberto Bielsa Argentina 101
                    9. Rafael Benítez España 97
                    10. Marcello Lippi Italia 88
                    11. Vicente del Bosque España 85
                    12. Franklin Rijkaard Nederland 80

Which just shows how hard it is, Wenger first

If it's a short term deal, then that should heal the pain. Can't do much harm really, as we're not competing against him/them per se this season.

World and European cup winning Del Bosque? He won two champions league titiles too.

SAF 12 league title, 2 champions league, and a bucket load. Ancelotti has two champions league titles too.

I love Rafa way more than I hate any one player at Chelsea. I wish him well.

If Rafa did get the Chelsea job, as much as I'd hate to see him there, I would love to see him do well.

On the other hand they have Terry, Ashley Cole, Torres.... such priks.

I don't see why they would go for rafa as a caretaker. There's a good chance they'll be out of the CL (Rafas main strength) in the group stage.
