What expectations do people have of Origi? I'm not expecting much really, I think he'll be a bit like Cisse and he won't have much of an impact. It would be great if he could reach the level of Sturridge, but be less injury prone. If I was a betting man I'd wager that he won't play much for us this season and we'll be looking to offload him next summer. I'd love that statement to come back to haunt me! :-)

I'm looking forward to a Sturridge like work rate and positioning. He like to put his foot on the ball and make forward runs. I think he'll be a good player for us.

I think he'll get shunted out wide when he does play and we'll see very little of him in his natural position up front

I was quite hopefull based on his WC appearances but I'm not so keen now after his form this past season. It could be down to his heart not being there but he's been paid to do a job & owes the club & fans to give his all. Probably take a season to bed in too.

I actually think he'll do well, maybe not straight away, I've only seen him with Belgium mind but he's quick and has a good shot on him and I think he's fairly skillful as well.

But maybe he was playing in a poor, defensive team and had his mind elsewhere.

The closest player to Sturridge in terms of playing style and skill levels. Whether he has Daniel's mentality and consistency will be seen this season.
