Cannot be planning anything around someone that might be thinking of running down a contract. In my eyes he can commit to the club or be a back up player until he leaves in 12 months.

Well, when you consider if we feel forced to flog him off at a knock down price of 50m it pretty much pays every penny of his wages and he's basically played for free. Every moment of genious, every win he's contributed to. No worries squire, thats gratis, on me likes.
