We could try Owen Beck at LB with Gomez at RB
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

It's another key player swapped out for a rookie. Eventually it'll show in our performances

I think Bradley is slightly ahead of of Beck in the pecking order, so he'll be Klopp's go to. Could chance depending on how both play on Wed though.

Terrible news about Trent, but what perfect timing for that impressive cameo from Bradley. He must be thinking the stars are aligning for him, so hopefully he seizes the opportunity.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Is probably about as good as it could be in terms of timing. We only have two games in the next two weeks. Fulham this week and Bournemouth 10 or 11 days later. Then the Cup game vs Norwich or Bristol after that.

Same injury in February or March could have coincided with four to six games, with a number being league games.

Aye, hopefully he's back for Chelsea and picks up where he left off.

Felt that small injury against Villa set him back a bit earlier in the season.

Will probably lash off an email to Klopp and let him know I am available.

At this point I probably move faster than Thiago or Bajcetic, plus the sight of me trying to cough up a lung might cause players to stop and look and give our guys space to run into.

On top of all that I would be a much cheaper sicknote to have about the place. Give me a few meals a day, some vouchers for Probe, somewhere warm to kip nightly and I would be happy enough to play for LFC

He’s going to be an all time great for us but if Gerrard was asked to play right back there was no way he’d not bust a gut trying to stop the winger
So, feeling guilty about your not trying comments Nev, or vindicated because he 'couldn't' try?

I think John Henry and Tom Werner would rather put the kit on themselves than spend money this window.

Ha - no guilt here i think he could’ve done better based on what I know he’s capable of. I just don’t think he wants to defend anymore and half arses it a bit sometimes.

He’s an amazing player and we are lucky to have him but if he’s defending the right back slot then give it everything and nothing is getting by….. man or ball - old school

Ok - I’ve been crazy busy at work and the Mrs is bed ridden so managing the kids as well. Trent is injured….. ffs, I just saw that…… that could explain things a bit if that was the case

Lazy ******, in my day we played with one knee!

You also played with 13 fingers and 8 toes but that's the water in Clare for you

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Gerry Byrne will be turning in his grave.

Not sure how much detail you caught up on, but it appears he picked up the injury during the first take on, which is why the 2nd seemed so half hearted (think Jaco picked up on that before injury was announced TBF). Played another 20 odd minutes with the injury too, so maybe a bit of slack next time?

Was actually a little before the first time Martinelli skinned him. Said it in the other thread, match thread maybe, on Sunday.

You could see him hitch on that side and then was trying to force things for about ten minutes after that.

                                Kept rubbing it as well.

Looked very similar to when a boxer twists a knee or ankle joint when moving and then tries to work through it for a few rounds in the hope it is just a knock/twist that deadened a nerve rather than a tear or impact injury.
