Even as an adult fan, I feel Trent is taking us for a ride and even if he stays I don't think his relationship with the fans and the club will be the same. He is trying to play the club, and therefore, the fans, and I just don't like it it. He was quite clearly winding down his contract for this exact scenario, sign for free for Real or get a huge sign on bonus from the club.

I'm getting to the point I'd rather **** him off right now to Real and be done with him.
Nope - Not really. Kids, yes. Adults, not so much.

Of course, in this day and age, everyone seems to be angry about something all the time, so I guess it's just another thing to get outraged about if you're into that kind of thing.
    Oh I don't know.

Have you never felt angry or disappointed over a match? Or ecstatic, glad or happy? Or over a signing?

Count me as a kid then, I'm very enthusiastic over football, Liverpool are not first in life, far from it, but I don't think I'm alone in it either and I feel no shame in either even when some feel they are above feelings or passion, although maybe angry is too strong a word I do feel very disappointed in Trent, it seems he's taken the club for a ride and if that's the case, I think supporters have every right to feel however they want.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Matches - of course. All the time. That's what it is all about.

        New signings are exciting.

Players leaving can be sad. Often. For lots of reasons.

But angry? That is different. So no, I can't say I'd get angry about a plyer leaving.
        Oh I don't know.

Only 23 though so would certainly hamper Bradley's chances if we brought him in and he hit the ground running.

From the little bits I have seen of him he is as full blooded a tackler/defender as Bradley is.

Think if we thought Bradley would stay fit for the rest of the season (and if TAA left in January) I would be taking a punt on Bradley and telling him that if he does well the position is his to lose next season.
          Never heard of him.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Like I said, angry was maybe too strong, but, I will respect every fans emotions and feelings, and I even though I maybe won't get angry about it, I can totally understand that there will be angry feelings, sad, and however.

Who am I to judge other peoples feelings or opinions.

And Trent should definitely prepare for angry supporters.

If... he leaves in January.. and derails the season I'll be fuming tbh but I don't think he will.

So then if.. he leaves in the summer I'll just be left thinking what a spineless turd he was.

Calling it angry is just semantics. I'll be pissed off because he put himself before the club. Not something I'd expect of a local lad or a fan of the club. I'll be pissed off that an asset of around £80m walked on a free and the club missed out on that.

But it won't ruin my day, I've other **** to contend with that'll probably do that.

Be pissed at the club also then as they have allowed this situation to unfold. We used to be good at extending contracts before they entered the last 2 years.

We are now in a situation where three of our best players can negotiate with other clubs and leave on free transfers in 6 months time.

I think its the way football is going TBH, anyone signing a Chelsea style 8 yr contract has an agent looking for quick returns. The savvy agents will see what is happenening & more players at the highest level will run down contracts; Mbappe was the 1st, more will follow suit... Its all about the greed of players & moreso agents.

Maybe the club / slot are very relaxed (not particularly bothered..) if he leaves and especially if he is looking for north of 350k p/w, maybe they feel they can replace him with a better player with a more suitable profile for slots system?
The downside of this is the constant media attention / distraction between now and when / if he does leave. I have full faith in the management team either way.

They tried it with Harvey Elliott too and he told them to get ****ed.
Woah there, Harvey Elliott? What's the story

He's stalling until the contract runs out so he can leave on a free as his agent will have already sorted with Madrid.
He could have put in a transfer request which would have meant we wouldn't have had to settle the end of his contract, but he didn't.
It would also have meant we could have had a reasonable fee from Madrid, but he didn't.
He's following Madrid instructions here, and will get a healthy signing on bonus.
I just hope we don't face Madrid in the CL, or his loyalty may be further questioned.
I think Daniel Agger might be persuaded to come out of retirement for that game
