This "negotiating with the club" bull**** is just blowing smoke up the fans arses.
He's stalling until the contract runs out so he can leave on a free as his agent will have already sorted with Madrid.
He could have put in a transfer request which would have meant we wouldn't have had to settle the end of his contract, but he didn't.
It would also have meant we could have had a reasonable fee from Madrid, but he didn't.
He's following Madrid instructions here, and will get a healthy signing on bonus.
I just hope we don't face Madrid in the CL, or his loyalty may be further questioned.

You know **** all about the situation just like the rest of us.

Who knows what this personal agenda you seem to have with Trent is but please give it rest - it’s beyond tiresome

There is no "personal agenda" so don't be so over dramatic
I'm mearly offering an opinion, as many others are.

“The lads were in the dressing room singing Spanish songs and lifting the president up in air, which I did, but I just felt as if I was a bit of a fraud, because they’re all singing these Spanish songs and I just thought to myself ‘this is just weird.’”

“I got my phone and I took myself out of the dressing room, went along the corridor, sat on the floor and listened to messages,” he continued. “You [Robbie Fowler] sent me a lovely message about my mother and stuff and I listened to it. But I wasn’t in the dressing room sort of celebrating because I just thought it was all a bit weird.

“I remember thinking ‘I would have loved to have done this with Liverpool’ because I would have been right in the forefront of it all, knowing all the words and really throwing myself into it. And I was very much on the periphery of all the celebrations just because I didn’t understand it.”

The grass may not be greener for Alexander-Arnold
It would be interesting to hear whether Alexander-Arnold will seek out the opinion of McManaman as he ponders his next move.
Didn't McManaman score in that final as well? So played a significant role in them winning it.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Real are playing games IMO & will report back to TAA’s agent to say yeah they are prepared to let him leave but just not now. **** house Club along with Barcelona

Negotiations on a new contract with the 26-year-old are also continuing and Liverpool have had no indication that the player wants to leave.

If they want to run down their contracts, then whatever. The point of a contract is that you pay someone to do a job for a fixed period. If they leave early, then you get a fee, great. If not, then if they have performed, then everyone has got the required value out of that contract.

I'm not going to get all emotional and grumpy about a player leaving though. Not since Fowler anyway. I'm cool with it.
But surely you can understand fans being angry? Football after all is all about emotions, fans wear shirts with players name, fans buy merchandise, subscriptions and tickets and are really what make the game. You'll probably have loads of fans with 66 on the back feeling all sorts of things.

Even as an adult fan, I feel Trent is taking us for a ride and even if he stays I don't think his relationship with the fans and the club will be the same. He is trying to play the club, and therefore, the fans, and I just don't like it it. He was quite clearly winding down his contract for this exact scenario, sign for free for Real or get a huge sign on bonus from the club.

I'm getting to the point I'd rather **** him off right now to Real and be done with him.

I wonder what is the magic number that gets us to say yes to a January sale.

                          £40m perhaps?

I'd sell for 30m if we have a replacement lined up.

There were rumours that we were/are looking at the RB at Monaco. Vanderson.

Only 23 though so would certainly hamper Bradley's chances if we brought him in and he hit the ground running.

From the little bits I have seen of him he is as full blooded a tackler/defender as Bradley is.

Think if we thought Bradley would stay fit for the rest of the season (and if TAA left in January) I would be taking a punt on Bradley and telling him that if he does well the position is his to lose next season.

Yeah, maybe, but he does tend to get injured though, massive risk IMO. Would be ideal to get in someone like Ben White who can play both positions. I would prefer to give Bradley the chance like you suggest.
