Unpopular opinion but as much as people don't like what he's done in the way he's leaving he has played his part in winning the title so deserves to be in the parade, it feels a bit vindictive to say he shouldn't be a part of that, and we as a club are better than that. It's also not just about him, whether we as fans like it or not presumably some of his team mates will still be friends with him after he leaves an will also want him there.
Don't get me wrong I am pissed off about it but we have been through this before with better players, my feeling is the club will move on and he will probably be the one who regrets it. Show him what he'll be missing by leaving, no matter how much he wins or how much money he makes in Madrid it won't be the same.
The way I see it is he has earned his place at the parade and earned his goodbyes with the fans. So he should get that.
However he is now no part of our future on the pitch so would not bother playing him again unless we needed a sub in a game. Give the minutes to Bradley to the end of the season, including the final game against Palace.
TAA can go do the end of season walk around the pitch thing, but I would not be playing him given we have no trophy to chase.
As for once he is gone and is a Real Madrid player. Pretty much who cares will be my attitude. If he succeeds there or fails there it matters not a jot to Liverpool FC. His history at Liverpool will always be there and will always be a reminder of how good he was at his best for us.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Think a good number might well be doing exactly that. Be it with us or trying to put themselves in the shop window for moves elsewhere.
The shop window argument still puts them in the same boat as Trent though. You could just as easily suspect them of not being committed to the tackle, as an injury now could scupper a prospective move in the summer.

Depends on the player I suppose. Some might be taking it easy for the reason you said, some might feel they need to stand out in order to improve their choice of next club or a higher wage at that club.

Ok, Mo’s an obvious exception and maybe a few others, but on the whole.
Most of the squad aren’t playing for personal records or their future.
It depends on the team we put out Salah is after the record, Elliott, Endo, Quansah could be playing for their futures here. Bradley will want to show that he should be first choice next season.
Kelleher might get a game between now and the end of the season, he is in the shop window
There are question marks over Tsimikas, Jota, Chiesa
We could gives some youngsters some run outs too
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Fair play to him. Won everything here and wants to play for the biggest club in the world. I get some emotional outburst from the fanbase, but everyone on here is over 40. We're all adults. What will be will be. Go smash it Trent and then come back.
