I think it probably comes from a desire to emphasise that we have two of the best keepers in the league and that even with our 2nd choice keeperwe have donrm, I think he would be a starter for at least 15teams in the leagueThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Who’s the Chelsea one?
Bazanu was at City and they sold him for a decent wedge to Southampton, he got a bad injury and they signed Ramsdale. Travers from Bournemouth is the other one in the mix
As an aside if I was Chelsea, I’d be all over Kelleher, he’d move them up a notch

Given that it seems Kelleher will never be our number 1, would you begrudge him a move to another of the "top 6" clubs? How would it be to see him turn out in a Chelsea top or maybe United? Is it different for keepers than it is for outfielders in that respect? I mean, I'd hate it if someone like Gomez (not a first choice 11 player, but a damn good one nevertheless) took a chance to move and became a defensive linchpin for Arsenal, but weirdly if Kelleher made the same move I wouldn't worry, it would be more "good for him, showing what he can do, so long as it's not against us".

He is in for a bit of a culture shock if he moves to Chelsea or Spurs. Liverpool is probably the easiest city in the UK to move to from Cork city or to a degree from Limerick city.
London is very different to live in.
Lived in all three and going between Liverpool and Cork brings far more by way of familarity.
Know for my friend Michelle the same thing applies. She has also lived in all three and right now is 9 years into living in Liverpool and as a Cork woman she says that Liverpool is very much like being in Cork as the locals in both cities share a lot of the same traits and the "psyches" of both cities have many commonalities. Hell even the accents both come with a similar lilt and is spoken quickly.
Probably why the Dockland area of Liverpool has a frankly silly amount of Corkonians living there at present.
Different for folk moving from Dublin imo as they are used to a faster paced city with **** traffic so they can slot into London easier imo whilst still being able to adapt to the slower than Dublin pace of places like Liverpool. Always a stench of Dublin off them though and Corkonian sleeper agents tend to tell Scousers that in Ireland Corkonians see Dubs the same way that Scousers see Londoners/Southerners so that tars the Dubs as basically being upside down Londoners or maybe Londoners are the Upside down Dubs.
As for holding a grudge against him if/when he moves to London, nah not at all. He will know to play well against our rivals and to have his once or twice a season clangers against us.
A few good eggings of his mother's house and the threat of a barring from the Mahon Point Shopping centre for him and his girlfriend for when they come over the Cork should be enough of a threat to convince him to play ball after he leaves. A few weeks of only having the Wilton or Blackpool SCs (as he will obvs be barred from Douglas and the city centre as well) as a hang out will sort things.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness

Yes, he better be. But to be honest, at this point I trust Edwards blindly for anything.
