Go see a podiatrist. You can try all sorts of remedies and recommendations from others as I have done over the years but at the end of the day go see the quack. its worth it

Its amazing to watch as my gut recedes. I occasionally catch myself stroke it much as an amputee would stroke a missing limb. We've been through a lot me and my beer belly.

I am also taking Tennis lessons! Something I was to shy to do when I was a kid and have always regretted. If I could get a handle on my diet I am sure the weight would be falling off even quicker than it is.

Best I have felt since I was about 16 though! It took the diagnosis of diabetes for me to finally pull my finger out of my lard arse.

'Getting back into it' is the best feeling! You'll question why you didn't start sooner but I think it's the greatest hurdle, well that or saying no to a cold beer...

I raced a mountain bike once before when I was 17, I'm 39 now so I don't think I retained any of the fitness I once had (which was very little!).

I've never done anything competitively before.
