I hope you are right but I do think he can play almost as much for us as he could play for Spurs and United.

Scholes is already past his best and Carrick has been very inconsistent.

Spurs, on the other hand, Huddlestone is injured and Palacios and Sandro are not the same type of players.

I think both can give him lot of playing time and also an opportunity to play in CL (Spurs are still in it) is something that could not be overlooked.

I cant argue with that but apparently thats not what Adam is thinking

The Man Utd midfield yesterday was a joke, Scholes hasn't got long left and if he is around won't be a regular, Carrick was poor, Hargreaves is injured, Anderson is poor. Only really Fletcher is that good a long term option IMO. Based on this I wouldn't be so sure that he wouldn't get in the United team as often as he would get in ours.

As I have mentioned that is not my opinion its Adam's opinion based on conversations with his potential suitors

Personally, I think Anderson is good - potentially excellent. They are also missing Valencia (not really a midfielder admittedly). Think the Glazers said they'd make £££ available in the summer (post Rooney's outburst) so I expect them to stregthen there as a priority. Schole and Giggs are a joke. Hargreaves we can forget about.

Anderson has the talent, I believe, but he is horribly inconsistent. He also hasn't improved at all since he first broke into the team.

Calling Scholes and Giggs a joke seems like madness to me. They are probably being over worked but they have still looked like two of the better players in the PL this season.

As I mentioned elsewhere on this forum today, I am mad or am beginning to believe it. They wouldn't be anywhere near the top players in the PL imo. Yes - they are good for their age and stand out in what is a waek league - but they are not two of the betterplayers at Manure never mind the PL. They do a job, but clearly can only do so as bit part players at this stage.

When United have been winning I thought Scholes was controlling games and they always look better when Giggs plays. It is a weak league but I think those two have been consistently amongst the best United players this season and up until recently United were unbeaten and they are still top of the league.

I think a big factor in the dips United are having and have had this season (they have not won that many games away from home even if they haven't been beaten) has been their over reliance on those two to control games and impose themselves. At times they do look their age (against us for example) and struggle but their class has helped United beat most of the lesser teams pretty comfortably. The players who have grabbed headlines (mostly Nani and Berbatov) seem to be those that contribute least to the shape and style of the team play.

I really don't think any of the teams in the PL would have been doing anything but squabbling over fourth if they were playing in the league even two or three years ago.

At one point he looked as a good player (strong, good ball control, can pass, fairly agile for his built) to me he clearly regressed in the last year or so. It seems Fergie doesn't believe in him neither as he rarely starts and when he does it is in the games of the less magnitude.

He also should lose some weight too.

He turned out a fraud on that front so they've tried to change his role into a busy CM pest, but he does nothing. Doesn't score any goals - literally (has he ever scored?) - wastes possession and does a lot of useless, ineffective running.

Couldn't agree more! Did you see the clips of him on youtube before he signed for Utd? He looked ****ing incredible! They spent 35 million on Nani and Anderson, who were cited as being the long term successors to Giggs and Scholes. In truth, neither player is fit to lace Scholes' / Giggs' boots.

If you look at the current side, they need some serious rebuilding work - the youth isn't filtering through / developing like it used to. I honestly think that as soon as something gives way at Utd, they will fall, big.

None of them are as good as Giggs and Scholes in their prime but they will get their money worth with Nani (I think they paid £17m originally)

Clearly their best player this year and imo the only world class footbaler (aside from being biggest cheat, cunt, drama queen etc.) they presently have.
