One thread would be ideal. But it's not an ideal world, not everything runs perfectly.Originally posted by lfc4ever View PostHave the one single thread open, simple.
Multiple threads on the same subject with the same argument over the same ground with the same posters on their respective side of the fence are boring.
If they're boring, why not just ignore them?

It would be easy to merge into one thread then, job done.Originally posted by DJS View PostOne thread would be ideal. But it's not an ideal world, not everything runs perfectly.

Then maybe, just maybe, the same arguments need not to be constantly revisited.

The way people on here and other LFC forums, state things about Owen leaving LFc as facts is bewildering.
No one on here or any other LFC forum knows what when on when Owen left and then when he went to Newcastle from Madrid. People have gone along with those supposedly in the know and come out with all sorts of bollox.
What I do know is that both Parry & Moores, Carra & SG have all said on record they would welcome Owen back at LFC. Now if he shafted us so badly why would they say this. They could easily have refused to comment, particularly moores who hardly ever spoke publically about players. they knew what went on and would have welcomed him back. that means a damn sight more to me than hundreds of internet insiders who wouldn't know an LFC insider titbit if it bit them on the arse.
the reception Owen received against newcastle was a disgrace and I was ashamed to stand on the Kop that day.AKA Heighway No9

Fair do's but surely nobody with an ounce of integrity would walk out on Newcastle now?Originally posted by Sir Bob View PostThe way people on here and other LFC forums, state things about Owen leaving LFc as facts is bewildering.

You can also add that Owen had agreed to join us the 2005 summer and had agreed to take a wage cut to £60k/week, £58k/week less than he is on now at Newcastle. The only thing that stopped that move was two long term injuries.Originally posted by Sir Bob View PostThe way people on here and other LFC forums, state things about Owen leaving LFc as facts is bewildering.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
