I understand what you're saying, but I'd rather spend £5000 on following the team. It costs me £500 to go to a match. £5000 means 10 matches less, and I've only been able to go to Anfield twice in my 40 years. I'm sorry Tom but I think a lot of people would rather go 10 times to Anfield than own a share in the club. But: I do agree with you on your sentiments. It's just not affordable for most of us.

You could do it as part of a group. They are accepting group shares.

I think i'll just keep reposting this until people understand:

People on here talk about what they as individuals will get out of the club, to paraphrase Kennedy, "don't ask the club what it can do for you, ask yourself what you can do for your club."

I've got a lot more out of the club in terms of very significant feelings of community involvement and heightened emotions than 5k can ever pay back.

If this scheme is what I think it is, the returned value of this investment is almost beyond price - it's safeguarding our community and putting in mechanisms that will pay back enormously in terms of personal happiness and emotional well-being. **** season tickets and voting rights.

What are you now gaining by trying to stop people going for it or talking them out of it.

****s sake theres no pleasing some of you shower of cunts, these lads have at least attempted to do something practical to get these monkeys off our back, as Tom says id gladly give 5k even though it would leave me broke and holidayless this year just to give something back and to ****ing do something. The other thing to consider is that any excess revenue from the buyout could be used for players, this would include extra members as you go along. A minimum of 100,000 members, if it gathers pace and people remain positive and talk about it you could be looking at some good funding for players.

I would imagine that there would be nothing stopping fan forums buying more than 1 share as it would be numerous people.

It should be that you can only buy 1 membership certificate. Yet you should be able to buy it for what ever you want (minimum £5k)

You can sell your membership at any time but only at face value, i.e what you paid for it.

All your certificate should enable you to is a vote on the board membership (plus the satisfaction that your helping the club). No priority on anything or any discounts.
