When he signed we were all made up, got him cheap at £5m and we were all happy to pay him whatever wages he wanted. Unfortunately for Harry and LFC injuries have robbed him of a huge chunk of his career and he hasn't been able show us what he can do. A consistently fit Kewell would of been a joy to behold in a Red shirt.

The lad cannot help it if he gets injured, whether it be whilst at LFC or with Australia. He was more than worth the fee payed and well worth the wages but through nobodies fault he picked up alot of injuries, it happens in pro sports and in everyday life but it does happen. As fans we get frustrated with the player even though it isn't his fault, my frustration is with the fact that i know he would of been great if the injuries hadn't of happened.

How do you think Kewell has felt trying to recover and prove his worth. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Harry Kewell and am only disappointed for him, in that he was never able to remain fully fit for long enough to show us the talent we knew he possesses.

I wish Harry Kewell the very best for the future, thank him for the good moments he was able to show us and hope beyond hope that he goes on to play a lot more in teh future, wherever that may be.

harry kewell was really unlucky with injuries and, for that i feel for the lad. to have his dream move to liverpool tainted with his fitness is terrible and knowone wil deny that, are we clear?

but to turn down a new deal when the club and fans have supported him emotionally and financially when he is obviousley not short of a few quid is shameful. Harry knows that whilst he was injured he was being paid top money, so how about giving something back? like a show of support and strength whilst we strive for no.19, like the support and strength he has been shown.

thanks for all the gratitude shown to LFC harry, your (quite clearly) a legend in your country but for most LFC fans your actions with turning down the new deal are that of a mercenary.

He wouldn't even get a game next season so why would you want him hanging around the reserves, wasting what little of his career is left and perhaps taking more money from the club?
