He's rubbish and shouldn't have been anywhere near managing LFC.For all the good Purlsow did in his part of getting rid of H&G he is very culpable of listening too much to his mate Henry Winter and giving the job to Hodgson.

While I don't agree with the personal abuse I can understand it 100%, everytime I hear him speak or see him on tv I have to turn it off/over or I find myself abusing an electronic device that can't defend itself.
In fact I'm sure my tv apologised to me the other night for having Roy on it's screen

He is an embarrassment in every way shape and form be it as a manager or as a human being talking about being the manager of LFC

He sure is.

He should have never been appointed as LFC manager in the first place and when he was, I, as many others, were more than willing to support him until he started turning us into a massive joke.

He is completely out of place, he never thinks before he opens his mouth, his negative approach, no winning personality and his lack of ambition is everything that this club is not about and it would the best if he would do us all a favor and just quit.

I would respect him more if he would do that.

I was prepared to give him a chance, but he has failed to impress and is not the long term solution. We need a manager with better tactics for certain and one able to keep and attract top players. I'm also afraid of him being given a cheque book in January.

But, it seems unlikely to me now that he will be sacked in the near term, simply because a good replacement is not available.

I do however think the abuse has been over the top. Calling any Liverpool manager (and it happened to the last one too) a 'cunt' is disgraceful. Any manager that gets offered the Liverpool job is going to take it, so he cannot be blamed him for that. All managers believe in themselves so I don't think he thinks he is not up to it, so despite us knowing he's not up to it, he's not going to resign for that reason. He has said some stupid things to the media but what manager hasn't? TBH, I couldn't care less what he tells hacks, as long as behind the scenes it's another story.

He's been treated fairly based on results, but maybe not in the dialogue.

It was down to him and no one else to learn about the club and respect the fans from day one.

He hasn't exactly done that. He didn't give a **** about it.

If he had behaved better and showed some respect then he wouldn't get criticized as much.

It is his ****ing own fault that many of us fans more or less hate him. He was to arrogant from the start and continue to be it week after week.

If he showed some respect then we fans would also respect him more but it must start with him.

As long as the manager respect us fans then I don't see a problem if we play **** the first few months because it takes time until the players learn to play his system.

I hate Mourinho and Roy has behaved in almost the exact same way as Mourinho do.

Roy hasn't respected us fans even a little bit so why should we respect him?

Well, he is our manager and is being paid a hell of a lot of money to be it and he started from week one to behave like an arrogant prick that more or less told us fans that we are a bunch of clueless idiots.
