Foul and abusive language for one. There are many instances where had that happened in a normal street, that could be construed as something reportable to the police. Footballers are routinely charged with this.

Bollocks. If you walked up to a complete stranger and started mouthing off to them, making them feel fightened and scared for absolutely no reason then you could be up for some sort of common assault charge, but in the context of a football match, where there are lots of flash points and heated arguments about something contentious, there is no way you'd get a conviction for that, unless someone was issuing threats, for e.g. That's why this type of thing isn't reported.

Malicious tackles are another. Why wasn't Roy Keane charged by the poilce for intentionally ending that guys career in a coldhearted act of revenge?

Was this evidence obtained through an FA investigation?


The FA are making such a big deal about the seriousness of racism that they should be doing their upmost to ensure that it is pushished to the full extent of the law.
