I've never seen a reference to frivolity before. Is that true?Originally posted by fah-q View PostOnly if the appeal is deemed frivolous (ignoring the fact that this process is so unlawful it's untrue), surely clearing your name against these allegations could never be deemed frivolous?Oh I don't know.

It doesn't matter. This won't stand. They can chuck further threats of 'lengthened' bans towards Luis and us, will we just pull our tails in and say 'Oh, please don't!!! Mighty FA!!!'? Will we ****. They've overstepped the mark and they're going to get ****ed.

Bollocks. If you walked up to a complete stranger and started mouthing off to them, making them feel fightened and scared for absolutely no reason then you could be up for some sort of common assault charge, but in the context of a football match, where there are lots of flash points and heated arguments about something contentious, there is no way you'd get a conviction for that, unless someone was issuing threats, for e.g. That's why this type of thing isn't reported.Originally posted by dom9 View PostFoul and abusive language for one. There are many instances where had that happened in a normal street, that could be construed as something reportable to the police. Footballers are routinely charged with this.
Was this evidence obtained through an FA investigation?Originally posted by dom9 View Post
Malicious tackles are another. Why wasn't Roy Keane charged by the poilce for intentionally ending that guys career in a coldhearted act of revenge?
The FA are making such a big deal about the seriousness of racism that they should be doing their upmost to ensure that it is pushished to the full extent of the law.
