He said on a Skysports interview that there is still racism in English football and he has known of occasions in recent times where monkey chanting has been heard in some stadiums in England. He failed to mention which stadiums and which supporters are guilty of this. Why has no one highlighted this problem and why has this claim not be investigated further? Why is Bernard and other media figures allowed to lie through their teeth and go unaccountable for their lies and what they say?

I will never ever support Kick racism out of football, because that organisation is my book, a racist organisation in itself. I'd also go as far as saying that I believe Clarke Carlisle, the chairman of the PFA is also a racist.

OK, you say people shouldn't say things about racism without evidence. So what's your evidence for labelling Clarke Carlisle a racist?

Use graphs and extra paper if appropriate. Marks will be deducted for failing to demonstrate an understanding of racism from a cultural perspective outside your own.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I would rather my kids,on their way home from school, encounter someone spouting racist ****e than encounter someone who is drunk behind the wheel of a car.

Irrelevant sidetrack of the thread award.

              It's not either/or.

I think it's totally relevant Neely. Carlyle IMO has forfeited any opinion on anything of magnitude of the Suarez situation by being a convicted, current drunk driver. If he were a Nurse,Bizzy etc he would have lost his job.

Oh come on, it's a ridiculous sidetrack. Ad hominem.

This is such a good article - lets hope its spread all over the UK and beyond!

By the way - LFC should demand from the FA, that NO TEAM should be allowed to enter Anfield wearing BLACK outfits. I have only seen once in this case - but so true - that while the scum normally dress up in red (but not at Anfield), they at that day dressed up in black. So - Suarez comment about the freekick (which wasn't a real freekick at all) could just be - because you are (wearing) black = being my opponent today.
I have not read if that line of thought have been brought to the commisions attention, but it could easily be the motivation in the splitsecond, where LS responded to Evra.

BUT - as the matter has to end - I hope peace can calm down between the two sets of supporters, so there will not be any clashes at the old toilet in february.

It's not just a misunderstanding about a single utterance of an apparent contentious/racist word, so how can there be conciliation when one side is denying outright what is claimed by the other, especially when those claims are made in public.

If the mancs were interested in conciliation then they would have spoken to us first before making things formal, but a bitter cunt like Ferguson would never do that and pass up an opportunity to try and gain some advantage from it.
Which is exactly why we should have attempted to take the moral high ground of a public attempt at conciliation.

                          good on Luis

Luis Suarez: "I admitted I said a word in Spanish once & only once. I told the panel I would not use it again on a f'ball pitch in England."
Suarez: "I never, ever used this word in a derogatory way and if it offends anyone I want to apologise"
