He did'nt ask to be a little man! I'm sure he'd rather be 6 foot tall!
Why not just say......... 'calm down man'.....actually......just say 'calm down', it's safer.

Barnes is chatting bollocks, or rather someone else is using his name. Calm down little white man & calm down little black man is the same thing. Just a load of excuses why only white people can be racist.

Someone else is using Barnes' name?

Great player but he's as thick as ****. There's no way he wrote it. Someone else has put his name to it, obviously with his permission, it happens a lot.

            What the hell

He didn't "write" anything, it was an interview with Henry Winter. And he was absolutely right too.

There is absolutely no need to mention the colour of someone's skin when telling them to "calm down". The only reason to do so is to cause offence IMO.

If there is no difference why do you think people do react so differently? If you think there's no good reason it would seem to imply there is some sort of unnecessary anti-white conspiracy, which is utterly farcical.

Of course there is a difference, to not see that is incredibly blinkered. To accept that doesn't in the slightest mean 'only white people can be racist', it just means accepting that racism is a bit more complicated than chucking about a couple of lazy false analogies accounts for.

                    Wouldn't that be 'size-ist' ?

If derogatory comments related to race are going to be rightly deemed unacceptable, why are derogatory comments about height/size seen as being ok?

I suspect you know the answer to that question but you know I like to indulge anyway...

As with so many things, there's a sliding scale but you have to draw the line somewhere. Thankfully we can trust the wise custodians of justice at the FA to understand the nuances.

If Suarez is convicted on the say so of Patrice "everyone's a racist" Evra. Then it will set a dangerous precedent.

Because people are stupid? A slur that references any skin colour is racist. To suggest otherwise is incredibly blinkered.

It's not on Evra's say so. Luis doesn't deny saying what has been said, therefore no proof is needed.

Media influence mainly. White people are not brought up to think the term white man is offensive, replace white with black though and it's a whole other story.
