Kenny will never need to be shown the door at Liverpool FC. He will be the first to put his hands up and say it is not working, and right now we are going through a sticky patch no doubt, but lets keep the faith.

Arn, I couldn't disagree more. Kenny is exactly what this club needed to bring back some of the values we seemed to have lost the last years. No other manager in the world could have done this. As an example, Kenny's letter to the Swansea manager when they got promoted. Class.

i dont post on here often but id just like to say im a massive rafa fan.

i do get the feeling that a section of our support still feel so hurt about how he was disgracefully treated that they wont have patience with ANY manager for a long time, probably subconsciously. we absolutely do have a damn good manager now and not just because of who he is, rival fans go on about how we wont criticise dalglish in the slightest but if anything i think the opposite is true. had villas boas/jurgen klopp or whoever, a complete stranger, got the job in january i think we would have more patience. i think we might have expected too much too soon after how well we did between january and may because of having kenny as manager it all seemed a fairy tale come thru. talk of replacing him despite money spent this early into his tenure is absolutely ridiculous for me

Mata said himself shortly after becoming Chelsea's player which clubs wanted to sign him and LFC wasn't mentioned.

We don't have that time. Finishing fourth this season is more or less a must or else we will be miles off the best teams in the league.

Missing out on CL football three years in a row is simply a disaster. The players we need will turn us down because they will see that we aren't playing in the CL.

I wouldn't started this thread if I thought that we had time to build up the squad but we don't.

This season is one of our most important ever. How much will playing in the CL or not affect the stadium naming rights? How much less will we get if we miss out, again.

We won't be able to afford to sign the best players without the CL money because of the new rules. Playing in the CL next season is simply a must.

We'll be okay despite whatever happens this season. Henry is a winner and has a vision of what it takes to win. They will keep backing Kenny financially in the short term - and that may well fix the problem - because we need another game changer or two. Anyone can see that.

If things don't pick up after more investment though, the buck will stop where it should, with the manager.

No why would they back him even more,when the signings he has made have not been anywhere close to average so far other than suarez who has been exceptional.But there's along way to go and hopefully things pick up and we get to 4th
