Still think we will go 4-3-3.

Klopps system is very mechanical in the way it works. Having a lop sided right or three at the back changes the dynamics completely. I dont think it is needed when the system we had was already the best in the league, and possibly Europe (albiet when the midfield can press properly). A system that has allowed us to reach our 3 highest points totals, and reach 4 European finals, 3 domestic finals. If City didnt exist we would be the dominant force, and probably could have afforded more risks in the market to be competitive with Madrid.

Yeah, seems Colwell would be a great fit, Chelsea have an abundance of defenders as well, maybe they'll let him go at an extorbitant price. Colwell being homegrown will be worth that to us.

Robbo can adjust being a LCB but is probably not the future solution.

If we go 433 when we are being attacked can we rely on trent to slot in and stay focused.
He used to be such a good defender but now he just doesn't seem arsed unless he is rampaging forward and chanelling his inner Stevie G.

And Tsimikas. And Bradley. Plus heavy reliance on Matip (injury-prone), Konate (gets injuries), Gomez (suffers confidence-lows) and Fab (poor season and getting older). Something does not add up.

Just watching a re run of us beating City 4-3 when Bobby Mane and Salah did the damage. Wow, you really see how far our intensity has dropped off a cliff. Ginni in midfield with Can and Ox were constantly pressing and breaking up attacks. Salah was way quicker, more nimble and generally way better than the version we have now. I hope we get back to being awful to play against and just hassle teams to submission again. Just looks like a Klopp team.

Damn, I thought I was out and they pull me back in.....I'm getting really excited to see this new look team, Trent was awesome at the end of last season, Jota got firing again, Curtis finally breaking through, Gakpo adjusted well and this formation switch is very interesting. Not even mentioning new midfielders for the first time in eons.
