i remember when he joined, i got pelters from my mates as i said he would be a great lfc player; it has taken them 6 years + but now understand what i saw as raw talent turn in to a pure class.

i think he is one of LFC's best buys in the last 15 years.

If you spend 15 mill on a player, you'd expect to come into the team and make a very good impression and help the team, all the opposite of what Allen has done at the club as he's always on the bench

When Allen came into the team last season that's exactly what he did, yes his form dropped alarmingly for a number of reasons however at the start he looked an excellent player

Errr...are we talking about our lucas here? He ain't what you described as above...he definitely has more composure than masch and different passing ability as xabi...he is uniquely different but better for what he provides for the team and the way we play nowadays

I keep reminding my Dad of this. He started very well for us and looked every part like he was a £15 million player. Just dropped off due to injuries and inavbbility to get going again after them.

Lucas is a very important player for us. We could really do with better back up for the defensive side of things.

I still think Mascherano was a better player. One of the best defensive midfielders that has played for us imo. Probably the best I have seen in my years supporting (or can remember well enough).
