It could be that Lucas doesn't trust Rodgers, he could hardly get a look in for half this season and all last season.

Don't think there's anything mad going on its just exactly as you say. He hasn't got much game time under Rodgers, was told he could leave at least once( can't remember where I read that) and is deciding to do so this summer. He should be getting loads of game time when fit.Comment

If he was first choice he'd stay. Personally, I'd be looking to sign a top DM this summer which wouldn't make him first choice. I don't think he wants to stay and be a squad player, which is admirable.Forwards.......Comment

I like Milner, I'd be happy to have him here, but he strikes me as being a very similar player to Henderson. Put a Pirlo or Xabi Alonso in their prime behind those two and maybe you're cooking on gas, but otherwise adding in a typical holding player isn't going to provide us with the most creative or dynamic of midfields

I really think that central midfield is where we need the most work, we are finding controlling games hard and have been swamped in some games. Worse, without Lucas there is such a large gap between defence and midfield.Originally posted by Fierce View PostComment
