lets put it this way, he couldnt do much worse than charlie adam who is really struggling at the moment.

im one of the worst ones for giving stick but sometimes weve got to realise that these players are just human beings and that abuse does affect them. I think giving adam a rest could be more productive than playing him. he looks knackered and hes not one of the fitter players in the squad anyway.

he looks terrible because we are asking him to do things hes not capable of. play hendo with gerrard, and play adam off suarez with downing left and bellamy right.

dont give him any defensive responsibility and then see what he produces. lets give him a fair chance to show what he can do.

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

he has all the tools to his game, passing with both feet, stamina, great vision and he keeps things simple. he will go on and be a terrific player for us.

I am far more worried about andy carroll and charlie adam. even downings been putting in a shift recently.
          Is the right answer

bloody harsh comment considering we have downing on the opposite flank

Goal threat - He's started close to every game this season and has 1 goal.

Creativity - 2 assists all season.

              Vision - Oh lord.

Movement - Aimlessly running around the pitch trying to convince the boss that you're actually doing something is not what I meant with this category.

You're right about the stamina part though I'll give you that, the lad can run for 94 minutes non stop, he isn't particulary good at that football lark but the lad can run.

I'm still of the opinion that he is the type of player who gets under rated in this country as he isn't a black buster. He needs to improve but his basics are sound and he looks to have an eye for a pass. I think if we adopted a better shape in midfield we would see more from him. Like Lucas I think he shows the properties to grow into and excellent footballer. I guess in some ways they share some weaknesses too in that they make requirements of other players that our current squad doesn't satisfy regularly enough.

He had an horrendous first half but credit to him for ploughing on and improving in the 2nd.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The first 20 minutes he was total gash but fair play he was nice and tidy for the rest of the first half and improved massively after the break.

Just needs a bit more belief and confidence.

Superb pass from Hendo to Suarez for the second goal.
