If the game is in the bag then I've no issue with Carragher coming on.

He's played in enough Cup finals and big games, surely he wouldn't appreciate being patronised by charitable sub appearances. **** that. If we need to bring him on, fine.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah definitely. Agger has a ****ty friendly for Denmark in the week aswell and with Arsenal just a few days after I'd get the game won and get him off.

That's the thing, but realistically how could Carra call Kenny patronising?
          Hello mert.

Or on the flipside he gets to experience playing at the new Wembley for LFC.

Do you think Hyypia felt patronised when he came on against Spurs in his final appearance?

Completely different, it was his last appearance and we knew he was going after that.

I'm not suggesting its exactly the same - but the situations are similar IMO. A legend nearing the end of their career, it might well be the last chance Carra gets to play at Wembley.

No way would I see it as a patronising move to give him the last 10 minutes if we have a two goal cushion. Sentimental, yes absolutely.

yeah and the final game of the season has always a chilled out, testimonial feel about it - unless we badly need a result which we didn't that day.

Yeah, he should have started, though he was treated like **** that season with the Degen farce.

Strongest team possible for me, so Carra stays on the bench.

Fair enough if you want to bring a striker or forward on for the last ten minutes, but I can't say I'm keen in swapping centrebacks.

Fair enough - but none of you heartless *******s would play him then too, or on May 5th.

If the game is in the bag then Kelly or Coates should come on, or take a midfielder off and get someone like Shelvey on; much more important to blood the youngsters in a final as the future is more important.
