More interested into why the ****** gesture made by VanPersie to Kelly isn't being looked into by the FA, who seemed all up in themselves wanting to crack down on abuse not so long ago.

I must admit until this season I always felt him to be a flawed defender, always had a mistake in him, every game. I didn't think he had the self belief to really develop into the player we see now and I didn't think he possessed the levels of consistency that he is producing now. So it is impressive to see that this season he has improved in almost every area of his game allied to that has added concentration, desire and good game awareness (he loved a rash tackle in the past but his decision making is excellent now) to his already formidable physique. He looks a really confident player now, something he did not before.

I'm impressed and hope that he keeps it up for many seasons to come.

Agree with both of these points.

I said last season (or the season before) that he's a fine third choice centreback but not good enough for us to start every week.

Completely changed my mind now - he's really upped his game and a key member of the first team. He's a lot calmer now and cut out the rash challenges. Long may it continue.
