Yes it certainly looks like it took you some time and clearly a lot of thinking on your part.

I've no faith in the club in doing anything about it either. We're full of politicians at the club who know how to talk the good talk, but that's about it.

No one should've survived the 6-1 defeat to Stoke, unless you had an enormous amount of credit to use i.e. Wenger.
I think he is all but done now, unless he can turns things around in a Major way .... his departure is on rails, regardless of what FSG think, once he loses the away support and the sunshine charies ... nobody survives that

We need new management to tell future players that they'll be bought to play in their natural position.

I think we only need a decent CB to replace Skrtl, a hard CM and a better keeper.

        Spot on.

It's almost funny too that we signed Lovren to replace Sakho. That summer I think we could've made a play for Varane too, he was almost out the picture at Real and a big offer with us in the CL would've convinced him I think.

Sakho & Varane at CB, then signing a top DM this summer would've given us a solid base to build around. Ah well.
        Forwards.......

I actually don't think we need that much to make us competitive. We have some very very good young players that are going to get better - i just think we need a strong tactical manager with a consistent way of playing (90+ % of the time) and the players like Emre Can, Henderson, Coutinho, Sakho, Moreno, Clyne, Benteke, Sturridge can all form part of a strong team going forward.

Regarding January transfer window, i think if we lose / drop points in all of our league games in October, then the right thing to do would surely bring in a new manager and give him time to assess the squad for a few weeks before deciding if there is any player available to make us better.

If Klopp had a good network of scouts, then surely he would be a good shout for the owners to go after. They would get a semi at the thought of a young manager with detailed knowledge and contacts in a buoyant relatively untapped German transfer market. Where they could by 3 Emre Cans for the price of every Benteke!!!

If Klopp was available (he is) and wanting to come to LFC (not so sure on this one.....i just have this feeling that he is in some sort of secret engagement to Bayern Munich) then FSG should seriously just go for it right now.

Ancelotti would actually be my choice if he was attainable - although I think if he spoke to FSG then it wouldnt be a long conversation as the clubs transfer policy probably wouldn't do much for Ancelotti. He would probably prefer to hold tough and wait for one of the Munich, Man City, Man United, Arsenal, Juventus, PSG jobs to become available again.

I don't think finishing second is something we need to worry about this season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

People need to realise that Rodgers will be given until the new year to sort this around, unless there is a catastrophic points return in the next 4/5 games. It seems that he now will stick to that 3-4-1-2 formation and there are signs that we are already playing a bit better. The key is to bring confidence and our swagger back and keep Sturridge fit. This team has got limitations and issues that should have been addressed haven't but we are better than the current predicament of 8 points in 6 games.

If we carry on like this until Christmas we wont be looking up and hoping we'll be looking down and praying

I don't think we'll carry on like this. Also, there is no guarantee that we'll get better with Gary Monk.

The chat about FSG approaching Klopp historically gives me hope they will get the next appointment right.

FSG historically actually appointing Rodgers doesnt quite give me the same hope

Bloody hell, the up and coming managers of the Class Of '11 all turned out to be worse than ****. How did no one see that coming?

Class Of '11 = Lambert, Martinez and Rodgers.

On a similar note, Class Of '15 = Monk, Howe, Koeman. Brace yourselves lads.
                              One tit for another.
