FSG may well be looking for a way out. I don't think they're bad owners, just a bit clueless. They should have sacked Rodgers at the end of the season and I'm sure they know it. I wish they would hurry up while the situation is still salvageable.

I don't believe they don't care = they're just trying to be patient (which in fairness they should be) = it's just they don't know how to choose a decent manager. Which is why they should've chosen Rafa and backed him. Proven record of winning when he's backed.

It does run much deeper.

Benitez and Dalglish had proved that they could win titles and win trophies. Yet one bad season saw them both get the boot. So what has changed since then? It's Like people at the club are happy to continue with the status quo.

I'm sorry but I feel some real animosity towards him. He's a chancer and his continued presence is hurting the club. If he had anything about him he'd resign, but he's too self absorbed to do that.
