Huge difference is that was a one-off remark (assuming you mean Rafa's quote about his DoF buying him a table when he needed a lamp, or whatever it was), a quirky one-off remark. Not some hideous jargon that everyone cottons on to and trots out in every cliche ridden interview.

It's a minor gripe but just like bull**** business jargon, this new modern footy talk makes me wince.

'The group', 'like I say/said', 'OK'. Always makes me laugh whenever I hear them now, regardless of context. Don't mind really.
