Don't believe what the club said about that for one second mate. It's crap we just wont pay the wages the top players want. Like Suarez's new deal where it was £250k a week going into this season. It's all smoke and mirrors from Ayre and co as they had no intention at all of paying him or anyone that much as they knew they were selling him. It was PR bull**** to appease the fans.Last edited by Leyton388; 14-12-14, 10:11 PM.

We managed to negotiate the sale of our star player without too much trouble though.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostWe ****ed up the Summer transfers but bloody typical that it would be a World Cup summer which makes negotiations a bit more complicated, i.e. hard to get business done early.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

Yeah but we're not Barcelona. My gut feeling is that we took our foot off the pedal after the season ended. A big pat on the back for everyone and enjoy the World Cup. Just seems the summer wasn't planned well especially considering we had a strong hand to play.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostWe managed to negotiate the sale of our star player without too much trouble though.

Maybe we just didn't pick the right players..... Maybe we didn't try hard enough for Sanchez....Originally posted by spud_gun View Post
Just like we could attract the world class players in the summer.
If we had signed Alex song, pelle and eto this summer then we'd be cooking on gas........no ****in problem. We could have signed Bertrand.....was slated on here but let's call a spade a spade - he has been better than Moreno this year at half the price.
That is just last summer.......go back further. people on here were saying that Christian Eriksen was a no brainier at 10m......cheaper than joe Allen, cheaper than ****in Balotelli......half the price of Lovren. We should have been all over that....

Klopp or Rafa.
Love Rafa and he is one of the best coaches in the world, he knows the club and the league and would sort out the defence.
Think I'd prefer Klopp though. Doubt we'll go for him as its the best optionOriginally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

I don't fancy going back to the bad old days of choking the opposition with uber-defensiveness that has the unhappy side-effect of stifling our own attacking ambitions.Originally posted by captainfog View PostHaha you and Rafa, marcus.
Rafa can do one as far as I'm concerned. Hate watching his sides play football.
