To have faced Southampton (away) and Spurs and City - and win them all - is fantastic. This guy is doing remarkably well. I like many others was pushed to the brink by our atrocious start but if you can't hold your hands up and admit Rodgers is doing a fine job you need to have a word with yourself.

He's done fantastic to turn it around. A lot of people including myself thought the end was coming and he wouldn't turn it around. Hats off to him that he's proved a lot of people wrong including me and shown he's a top class manager.

I think we're going to go far with him as he's faced his biggest challenge with LFC and not only got through it but has gone from strength to strength.

Still worry that player recruitment is his big weakness though.
If he would just stop pushing for the likes of Lovren and Ashley Williams and just let Fallows and Hunter get on with delivering him more Sakhos, Cans and Coutinhos, we'd be all set.

I was in the 'get rid' camp. Although I did say that because of his good performance last season he deserves until the end of the season to make things right. I didn't think he would, but fair play to him (well at least not to this degree). I can't be bothered digging up my posts, but I stand by them, we were dire of the start of the season. I've said many times that I like Rodgers and think he's a very good manager, but I wouldn't be distraught to see the back of him because I don't really align with his footballing methods and philosophy.

Regardless of that he's proven he can get us going and we've been outstanding. I can't even say 'lately' because it's been going for so long. Great to see, hopefully he can keep it up.

We need to keep this going & get 4th. If we do & add a few players (top striker, DM, goalie) then we have the bedrock to go on for years at the sort of level we wanna be at. Getting into the CL is vital tho. So exciting!
