I didn't want to jinx us but I'm happy now to come out and say that I was wrong to want Rodgers gone as he's turned things around quite unbelievably to be honest. I think it's easy for some to forget how bad we were first 4 months of the season.
BUT I think it's fair to say that he changed things around maybe 2 months later than he should have and also the injuries to Johnson and Lovren as well as dropping Mignolet (again a little too late) have had a a helping hand. Most of all though, the man, the legend that is Lucas Leiva has come in and given some intelligence to that midfield. I mentioned it 100 times during our bad spell but we really lacked a calm footballing brain.
So all in all, I'm really happy the Brendan is still at the helm and I only see positive things for us in the future but I also think Lucas should be given just as many plaudits for his unselfish and selfless approach to the game even though he was not one Rodgers' favourites.
Good times.

Agree with everything there.
