    FFS, lighten up mate.

Looks like a win has annoyed you more than anything. I'm buzzing.
    Are we winning?

He'd have been better served just finishing his PCS after praising the Daniels, the bit about hysteria is going to do him no favours at all.

He should zip it to be honest, we are Liverpool, "not losing" isn't anything to boast about.

True, it's down to interpretation. However, Rodgers shouldn't really be bringing it up in public; if he is feeling the pressure from any angle, he's not judged his backing (or the situation) very well.

There could well be but as of yet nobody has broken ranks and condemned him to my knowledge, have you heard differently ?

Or he's doing a Maureen. Siege mentality. Sometimes that works, but he'll need results and performances to back that up. It's risky.

It's not the time to act cocky after a battling win at home to Villa.

Job done today. Keep the PC simple, and move on.

He admitted himself he understood why he was under pressure before the game, he should understand that relieving though it is, he needs to provide more than one win for that same pressure to ease.

no but it's clear there's a divide in the boardroom over him and his two closest allies are Ayre and Gordon,he was quick to say there's an agenda against him but not the fact he still has people fighting his corner...he's cracking under the pressure,as you have said there's no need to mention this simply focus on the 3 points and the fact his team still cannot defend.

He's a ****ing idiot is all. I like him, but that's what he is. One win against Villa at home and suddenly he's crowing and taking people on. Was like the defensive coach quote last season.

He needs to do himself a favour and be calm. Ignore the criticism and bite his tongue. He just can't help himself though, he'd be the first to shout told you so if we turned it around.
                      Forwards.......

Don't buy that, just loves to praise himself.

He needs to try to rise above it. And in doing that he needs to not take the bait or act with more humility no matter how hard it is.

He is obviously under extreme pressure but these quotes reveal his lack of self confidence. It's times like this he seems a young 42 year old manager.

This is where he does my head in, if he had won us numerous silverware he would have earnt the right to have a go, but we are no further forward than when took over and he can't see it.

Relying on an injury prone striker to save us after spunking millions

Might be something in that. Especially given he worked with him for around 3 years. Must have picked up something from him.
                                *Except Michael, who died.
