He deserves to work under decent owners.

When Kenny does leave - whether it's in three months or three years - then Rafa is the only option imo.

I got the impression Ayre was anti Rafa (certainly towards the end) and would have poisoned the new owner's minds with his own thoughts. Obviously I have nothing to back this up, just my gut feeling.

That, and I don't think FSG would be the sort to go back to an ex.

        Good points.

I don't think Rafa could work with Comolli as he'd want complete control over transfers etc. With Gerrard and Carragher nearing the end of their careers ...

            Are you always this pessimistic?

And it's not particularly this post, more *all* your posts, that are riddled with a whinging tone. Do you complain about a handjob not being a blowjob?

I think at the time it was good in a way for the club to have cleared the decks H&G, Cecil and even Rafa there'd been far too much infighting and starting afresh seemed a good way forwards.

I'd hope though if there was any changes in regards Kenny FSG would talk to Rafa as I have a feeling that given the chance to talk they'd quickly discover they have pretty similar thoughts and outlook on how LFC should be moving forwards.

FWIW - I want Kenny to succeed.

That may have seemed a good idea in theory, but in reality, we ended up with HODGSON.

don't remind me. It's slowly fading into a horrific nightmare.

At least they only gave him 3 months or so and didn't get the chance to sign some more superstars in the Jan window - thinking Agger out with Titus Bramble coming in and to add to the fire power up top we'd have seen the goal machine Carlton Cole !!

It's incredible when you look back now at what a mess we were in.

                        Selling Agger
Bringing in Cole, Zamora and Danny Murphy.

Rafa is no less of an ex than Kenny.
                          Oh I don't know.

                            Completely dumbfounding to be honest.

Looking back, the appointment of the Bodge was a final "**** you" from H&G.

Kenny was in 3 jobs after he initially left spanning just under a decade before an eleven year 'absence.' The club has been transformed. No ex players under his management, few, if any remaining staff from before.

Plus, the fanbase were divided under Benitez in his final season. Last thing I'd want in another managerial appointment is division.

You're right there would be divisions but it wouldn't bother me - anyone anti could simply get to **** in my opinion.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
