I'd kind of forgotten about how far Rafa went and the content of this. It was a bold if ultimately futile move.
Ferguson must have been fuming when he heard this... Its a shame Rafa didn't drum up more support as it just turned all Fergies ****** cronies like Allardyce, Bruce, Woy Bodge and the Media (refered to as Rafa's rant instantly, its hardly a Rant) etc.against him, as the points Rafa makes are still valid today. Amazing that on the back of this all that was reported was that Rafa was begining the 'mind games' against Ferguson, when in reality the points he was making were far greater than that.
Matt - this is old ground. Rafa inherited a squad that had just qualified for the Champions League. It was on the up, players were happy and the club was stable. It was a completely different story when Dalglish was made manager, last year.
