I'm going from the local Bournemouth paper as I'm guessing they would have the best sources locally.

It could be a base payment of £16m with add ons I suppose.

Played wide I find him a frustrating player and wouldn't have him in the team. Tries to beat a man 50 times. Used infield he's class. Sterling is wasted at wingback and so is Markovic.
Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Talented but yeah frustrating. Just needs a sustained period of fitness IMO & he'll flourish.

Sometimes too slow to release the ball.

Was a common factor in todays performance and Lallana was not the only player guilty of it. Personally I thought Can was the worst player on the pitch dwelled on the ball & gave it away so much. Needs a rest & lallana needs more game time.

Yeah, I guess he could argue he held the ball due to lack of movement breaking the lines. Annoying at times tbh.

He's not a wing back, but then neither is Sterling and neither is Markovic.

And there is the weakness with the current system.

I thought he was a lot better when he was pushed out wide in place of Markovic (who was pretty bad again today - worried he's regressing to the early season form).

He's a bit frustrating though - there was one point where he beat his man on the right with an excellent first touch, got some space away from the defender, then doubled back to beat him again and lost the ball! Annoying.

Markovic has regressed but perfectly linear improvement is rare in young players. Still think he'll become a top player. He's not a wing-back and never has been. It'll be good for him in the long-term.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
