Lallana clearly has talent but he is a perma crock & although his pressing is great when he is "fit" which isn't often... he does slow things up hugely when he is on the ball. If fit though, he is a good option off the bench for something different.

hardly abuse, mate. just voicing my opinion.
reckon his days [being able to offer a valid contribution-with us]are over, that is all.

Not abuse from you personally, but others. “Bleached arsehole” seems a bit severe for a dated hairstyle

Maybe the poster was referring to his ring piece?

Klopp always seemed to me a massive fan of Lallana, In the early days he seemed to be the ideal Klopp player in his pressing but feel the team has moved on and regardless of his fitness situation he is very frustrating to watch nowadays.

Yes the truth is he used to be an archetypal Klopp player but the truth is we have moved on and he has degraded due to his injuries. He's only a bit part squaddie now.

True, we have upgraded the quality of our starting line up to make Lallana seem superfluous to our starting 11 but he seems content to bide his time rather than stir up trouble so I’d rather have his quality on the bench rather than an unproven youngster

He just reminds me of a new Harry Kewell nowadays, plenty of promise when he signed then plagued by injuries. Even when Harry came back 'fit' he looked a shadow of the player he was at leeds.

I think someone else nailed it when they said he signed for us when we were at a far lower level than were playing it now. Interesting hair though .

He has only played about 25 mins in months so talk of a permanent drop in ability now is mental. How on earth could you tell?

What is valid though is that he would probably struggle to get a game now, and it would be better to give someone younger the kind of minutes he may get - so he will most likely be moved on next year at some point.

Shame, he got injured during his best spells - at the point he started scoring and assisting more - would liked to have seen how that progressed.

He's not really key these days as Klopp has never been able to give him an extended run in the side.

Will he be missed? Not really sadly

Yep, time to sell when we can, it's not like he's an elite player like Sturridge was so you put up with the injuries. Just move him on in January and get a 10.

Its a shame, but inevitable, never going to be fit and reliable.

Just wish we were as ruthless as Man City, **** these pointless international games; every single time out players go away they pick up injuries.
