But, what do they know I suppose?
They know, like I do, that despite him being a disgrace he's one of the 3 best footballers in the world, and with him in the team we missed out on winning the league by a gnats chuff

They know, like I do, that even with the games he'd miss for being a bellend, he'll still finish the season as the best player in the league

I hold him in high regard. I think he's the best player I've ever seen, and that includes every Liverpool player since the early 80s

His almost unrivalled ability, how nice he is as a person, the cleanliness of his toilet; none of these things detract from the absolute ****storm he brings with him
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

He brought shame on, and glory to the club in equal measures but, since this is a results game, I'd have him back

But now he's left the club, it doesn't matter how good a footballer he is, if he was such a disgrace then what's stopping those at the club from saying so? At the very least they should be glad he's gone and cut ties for 'disgracing' the club they love. Instead, many of them are still very friendly with him and speak extremely highly of him.

So why are fans so offended by these disgraceful actions, but those who have given their life to the club see things differently? What have they got to gain by defending him now, unless of course they never felt he did that much wrong in the first place.

Of course Suarez was not completely blameless and of course the bans were a major set back for the club, but a disgrace to the club, nah.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Why on earth would they say anything at all now?

Nobody is defending anything he did right now to my knowledge. Principally because he isn't a Liverpool player, so he isn't a concern to the club. Which again, is probably why you don't see Ian Ayre doing an impromptu press conference about how actually, he didn't like Suarez at all and thinks he is a very naughty boy

Nobody at the club can possibly think that the negative actions weren't damaging to the club. In fact nobody in their right mind can possibly think that his actions weren't damaging to the club. Because they were

And again, I don't think any fans are offended by him. Everyone I know would take him back over any player in world football with the possible exception of Ronaldo

Doesn't change how disgraceful he is/was

Whay are we saying anything now?

I am not even talking about right now anyway, I'm talking about since he's left the club and quite often he is defended by those who know him.

I find it hard to understand why certain high profile peope at the club would keep such friendly relations to somebody who was such a disgrace to the club.

And nobody is denying that the biting and suspensions damaged the club, but so too did Stevie G getting sent off multiple times in his career, or any such individual incident from any player, but it still doesn't make him a disgrace to the club.

Umm. It was YOU that asked what is stopping the club from saying he is a disgrace. Nothing is. Similarly, there is no reason for anyone connected to LFC to say anything about Suarez now that he doesn't play for us anymore

Furthermore, I haven't seen anyone connected to the club defending all the bad **** he did whilst he was with us since he's left. They are obviously going to defend him whilst he plays for us

Which high profile people at the club keep such friendly relations with him? Just out of curiosity

If you are comparing being sent off in a game of football, to BITING ANOTHER HUMAN BEING, then there is probably no further discussion needed

I don't recall any other players getting banned for racial abuse either

Suarez, as a man, brought disgrace upon this club with his ridiculous antics. He was a walking minefield. He also cost Kenny Dalglish his job as much as Carroll and Downing. That's the bad side. The good side is he was a star and a joy to watch. His attitude was exemplary, a real never say die attitude that I wished every footballer showed for this club.

But on another note. I've seen so many say that Rodgers success last year was down to Suarez. As if it was Suarez FC. But I think Rodgers was as good for him as he was for Brendan. It was a perfect partnership. But I am convinced that Rodgers will find another Suarez. I think he makes attacking players excel. I'm not so sure Suarez will find another Rodgers.

Can we bring him back on loan, till the end of the season?
Neymar and Messi play well together without Suarez.

But they have commented since he's left and generally it's all been positive. I'm not going to use Google for you.

Kenny has often defended him in his Mirror column and just recently, Gerrard has been sending birthday wishes, players have been supporting him on Twitter and Borini was over at his match. Minor things, but if I thought someone was a disgrace for anything, nevermind something so dear to my heart, I certainly wouldn't be exchanging pleasantries with them.

I'm highlighting that the suspensions were detrimental to the club, just like any suspension, but regarding the actual biting, he disgraced himself, not the club. He’ll never lose that reputation for biting, but the club suffered no long term damage as soon as the suspension was up and certainly on the filed he more than made up for it.

Kenny defending him? What he basically said was that Suarez is troubled and needs help in order to keep his bat**** mentalness in check

And once again, with feeling, he can have friends at Liverpool, he can help 42 grannies across a road every day, he can be both boy scout and girl guide at the same time, he can be as likeable and popular as anybody else in the world as well as being an absolute disgrace

I know what you're doing. You're attempting to trivialise his frankly lunatic behaviour into on field misdemeanors, when it is clear to every man and his dog that what Luis Suarez did/does is a world away from 'getting sent off'

Meh. This could go on all day

You think what he did was ok, I don't. Like I said before, I'd still love him to play for us, but that doesn't change what he did

What he did (bite) was out of order, but disgraceful is just too strong a word for me. I know they mean the same thing but I would prefer to say it was shameful behaviour.

But at the same time what is worse, getting bitten or getting a knee high tackle? Both wrong but I think the level of condemnation and sheer hatred Luis had to suffer here from the media and other teams' fans was more disgraceful than those actual acts.

People will of course cite the Evra affair, and it goes without saying that if he was *really*, genuinely racist towards Evra than that is a disgrace. But I'll never accept that he was - or at least I will never go along with the unequiovocal, unquestioning acceptance just because he was found guilty by a poxy kangaroo court, no better than an internal work disciplinary. I remain convinced it was a stitch up.

The rest, meh. I'd rather be on the end of a Suarez bite than a studs up tackle. Sure it was crazy, out of the ordinary, ****ing mental tbh, but whatever. Disgraced the club? Not for me.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Biting someone is disgraceful simple as that. I'd say that to any grown man that decided to bite someone.

He's a fantastic footballer but he keeps finding himself in these situations at some point you've got to look at the lowest common denominator and that's Luis.
